The WHO’s Western Pacific Region has asked IFHE to work with them to develop a tool to prescribe the right interventions. As you know, the Island Nations are the first to be feeling the overwhelming impact of the changing climate, as they literally sink under the rising seas. Their need is urgent.

As the year comes to a close, I find myself writing this Christmas letter with a deep sense of gratitude and reflection. This marks my final Christmas message as the General Secretary of the International Federation of Healthcare Engineering (IFHE), a position that has brought me immense joy, challenges, and fulfillment over the years.

We welcome you to the 34th ZORG.tech Congress as well as the 11th IFHE-EU Conference on Healthcare Engineering, which will take place in Antwerp in 2025. The theme of this two-day international conference is "Sustainability through Innovation for European Healthcare."
